HR Administrator - full time on site role at The Merrion Hotel, Dublin
The Merrion Hotel is recruiting for a full-time on-site Human Resources Administrator. Working as part of the HR team and reporting to the Director of HR, this role offers a busy and interesting position where you will grow your HR skills.
Responsibilities- Assisting employees with general queries
- Onboarding new employees - paperwork, access cards, name badges, coordinating with the uniform department
- Managing lockers
- Updating the HRIS
- Coordinating employee discount bookings
- Coordinating the leaver process
- Assisting Recruitment with job offers and reference checks
- Coordinating internal awards - voting and results for employee of the month and other recognition initiatives
- Managing employee files
- Representing HR & Finance on the Direct Line Committee
- Assisting the HR Team with various projects
- Presenting at Induction
- Training and Development, both internal and external training
- Health and Dental Insurance payments
- Contributory Pension Plan from the day you start work, including Death in Service benefit

- Plan and prioritise workload to meet deadlines
- Be proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Previous experience in an administrative or Human Resources role
- Have commenced third level study or be qualified in Human Resources
- Previous work experience in a hotel and prior use of Alkimii and MAPAL systems will be advantageous
This position is full-time, 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The role requires you to work onsite as it necessitates face-to-face engagement with employees; there is no option to work from home.
