Architectural Technologist/Technician/Facade Designer

We are a construction company based in Cork City, Ireland, specializing in External Facades with Light Gauge Steel frames. We are seeking an Architectural Technologist to join our team.

Job Responsibilities:
  1. Carry out all stages of design concerning Light Gauge Steel Facade systems.
  2. Attend site and design meetings in the UK if required.
  3. Locate/source drawings on project CDEs and issue requests for information as needed.
  4. Interpret structural and architectural working drawings to develop CAD/Revit/BIM design information.
  5. Collaborate with designers and structural engineers to develop project-specific construction details.
  6. Liaise with clients, architects, and main contractors to ensure design compliance with regulations and project requirements.
  7. Develop drawings and seek approval from the Design Manager before issuing to the project team.
  8. Coordinate and distribute construction status drawings to relevant site teams.
  9. Prepare O&M manuals and distribute to clients upon project completion.
  10. Prioritize and organize tasks efficiently.
  11. Attend the Cork City office in person each working week.
Qualifications:
  • Third-level qualification in Architectural Technology or equivalent. Graduates in 2025 are welcome to apply.

  • Salary: €60,000 - €65,000 per year.
