Overview

Avoca Ireland is hiring a Central Production Chef De Partie for the Central Processing Unit in Bray, Co Wicklow. You will work with fresh produce and artisan ingredients in a busy, high-volume kitchen. You will work closely with the Head Chef and Culinary Lead and may lead a section.

Responsibilities
  • Team player with ability to work under pressure
  • Preparing various products on a day-to-day basis
  • Producing dishes in a timely safe manner
  • Producing and ensuring that dishes are made to the highest standard and followed according to Spec and SOP
  • Adhere to HACCP regulations at all times
  • Support fellow kitchen staff in observing appropriate hygiene during food preparation and storage
  • Support the Head Chef in developing and growing the business and lead the section during busy periods
Working hours and days

Working days: Monday to Friday. Saturday and Sunday off. Working hours may vary during peak times or during holiday season. Start time: 05:00 to 14:00.

Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience
  • Experience working within hotels or in a similar role
  • Ability to lead a section during busy periods
  • Full knowledge of HACCP and its implementation
  • Full knowledge of Food Safety
  • Detail oriented with regard to health and safety
  • Energetic, friendly, strong interpersonal skills, a good team player
  • Reliable and trustworthy
  • Entitled to work full time in Ireland
  • Fluent English
  • Flexible with working days and hours
