Job Description

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Arrive to work on time and in full uniform.
  • Adhere to all HACCP regulations regarding uniform, personal hygiene, food preparation, production, service, and storage.
  • Carry out daily and weekly procedures, including temperature checks, food labeling/dating, and storage.
  • Work with the head chef in menu planning, stock control implementation, and good stock management to meet gross profit targets.
  • Ensure all mise en place is freshly prepared and ready on time.
  • Prepare dishes according to the correct recipes and standards.
  • Maintain optimal conditions for all stocks.
  • Minimize wastage.
  • Serve dishes with correct garnish and portion size.
  • Clean down the kitchen after service and store remaining food according to hygiene regulations.
  • Keep your section clean and tidy at all times.
