Job Opening: Process Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Process Engineer to join our client's team. This role is with a leading mechanical engineering firm specializing in supporting the multinational sector, including Irish-based companies involved in industrial systems, manufacturing solutions, mechanical design, problem-solving, and innovation.

THE ROLE:
  1. Assist in the development, design, and optimization of mechanical processes and systems.
  2. Perform process simulations, calculations, and analysis to support engineering designs (e.g., pumps).
  3. Support project teams in preparing technical documentation, including process flow diagrams (PFDs), piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  4. Conduct process troubleshooting and problem-solving activities to optimize system performance.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design engineers, production, and quality departments, to meet project milestones.
  6. Participate in site visits, commissioning, and validation activities as required.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Approximately 2 years' experience in a process engineering role, preferably within a mechanical or industrial engineering environment.
  • Proficient in engineering software tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of mechanical processes, systems integration, and engineering fundamentals.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
