We are recruiting an experienced Procurement Manager to join a leading public sector organisation in Dublin on a 6-month contract. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of end-to-end procurement processes, manage tender competitions, and ensure compliance with public sector procurement regulations.

Key Responsibilities

As Procurement Manager, you will:

  • Manage procurement competitions using the eTenders platform.
  • Conduct supply market analysis and supplier engagement.
  • Lead the full tender process from preparation to contract award.
  • Provide procurement advice to project teams and stakeholders.
  • Work with legal advisors on tender and contract documentation.
  • Chair evaluation meetings and manage feedback to suppliers.
  • Support sustainable and green procurement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement regulations and internal policies.

Candidate Requirements

To succeed as Procurement Manager, you will need:

  • Strong knowledge of the 2016 Public Sector and Utilities Procurement Regulations.
  • Experience with public sector procurement and eTenders.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong organisational and analytical abilities.
  • High proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
