Job Opportunity: Social Care Worker at Daffodil Care Services

Daffodil Care Services is currently hiring Social Care Workers for our mainstream service in Kilteel, Naas, Co. Kildare. We welcome applications from both new graduates and experienced professionals in social care and related fields.

About Us

Daffodil Care Services is one of Ireland's leading social care providers, offering a range of services including registered residential, aftercare, and community outreach programs. Working as part of a new team, you will collaborate with the Centre Manager and Deputy Social Care Manager to provide high-quality social care in a safe, caring, and stabilizing environment for vulnerable young people aged 12-17. You will be instrumental in delivering individualized daily activities within the residential setting.

Qualifications & Experience

Applicants should hold social care-related qualifications at Level 6, 7, or 8 achieved in Ireland or internationally. Relevant qualifications include:

  • QQI Level 8 in Psychology
  • QQI Level 7 or Professional Practice Qualification in Child & Adolescent Psychotherapy
  • QQI Level 7 or Professional Practice Qualification in Counselling / Psychotherapy
  • QQI Level 7 or Professional Practice Qualification in Addiction Counselling
  • QQI Level 7 in Youth and Community or similar
  • QQI Level 7 in Social Science / Social Studies
  • QQI Level 7 in Family Support
  • Professional Qualification in Teaching (not TEFL) or Nursing Studies
  • QQI Level 7 in Disability Studies or Applied Behavioural Analysis
  • QQI Level 7 in Early Years Care (for centers catering to children under 12)
  • BA in Applied Policing or equivalent
  • Higher Certificate in Custodial Care (Irish Prison Service) or equivalent
  • OR hold CORU registration as a Social Care Worker

All applicants must possess a full driver's license before commencing employment.
