Position Summary: Validation is a continuous process to ensure that waiting list information is accurate, up to date, and identifies patients that are willing to proceed with hospital care. Clinical Validation is the process whereby the Clinical Nurse Manager conducts a review of the patient's healthcare records and/or medical notes/referral letters. This post is being developed in response to national and local service plans, and local service need as evidenced by the growing patient population requiring endoscopy services.
