About the Role

The Housekeeper/General Operative will oversee housekeeping and cleaning operations within the nursing home. Working hours will vary according to the home's needs and may include occasional weekend work.

Role Responsibilities
  • This role involves working across the nursing home as a Housekeeping Assistant, Catering Assistant, and Laundry Assistant.
  • Maintain vigilance regarding the dignity, comfort, and safety of residents.
  • Adhere to all hygiene, health, and safety regulations continuously.
  • Assist in preparing meals and beverages for residents and staff, ensuring hygiene standards are met.
  • Prepare resident trays and dining areas, ensuring availability of necessary equipment, utensils, and food.
  • Clean and maintain kitchen, dining areas, and catering utensils using appropriate techniques and equipment, under the guidance of the Head Chef or Director of Nursing.
  • Perform any other duties as required.
