We are pleased to announce that we are currently seeking a Senior CSA Estimator to join our team. This position will be based in our head office in Ballymount, Dublin 22 and reporting to the Estimating Director.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the CSA estimating function across a wide range of complex and large-scale tenders, ensuring high accuracy in preparing estimates based on drawings and specifications
  • Manage quantities and prepare pricing documents
  • Lead the development of obtaining detailed pricing for elements of the building from Irish and European subcontractors and suppliers
  • Conduct thorough analysis using data to benchmark and justify subcontractor selections
  • Assist in the maintenance of the cost data base
  • Present the estimate to the Estimating Director and Board of Directors
  • Engage and build relationships with key vendors (subcontractors, suppliers, engineers, etc.)
  • Stay informed of industry trends, market developments and pricing benchmarks
  • Lead in the continuous development of procedures and quality assurance standards across the department
  • Mentor, guide and develop a high-performing team of estimators
  • Collaborate with Mechanical and Electrical Estimators to ensure fully coordinated submissions
  • Understand and uphold the company\'s high safety standards
  • Identify potential risks on projects
Qualifications
  • Experience managing a team of estimators
  • Ability to produce reports for management for bids and monthly meetings
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and at least one QS BQ software package (e.g., Buildsoft or CostX)
  • Knowledge of FIDIC contracts
  • Estimating background with at least 10 years of relevant experience on large projects
