Customer Service Executive

We are currently recruiting a Customer Service Executive to join our Centre of Excellence team in our Head Office. This is a part-time role ideally suited to someone experienced in complaint resolution and passionate about delivering exceptional service.

Location: Liffey Street, Dublin 1

Reports to: Customer Service Manager

We are currently recruiting a Customer Service Executive to join our Centre of Excellence team in our Head Office. This is a part-time role ideally suited to someone experienced in complaint resolution and passionate about delivering exceptional service.

About the Role

You will work closely with and report to the Customer Service Manager, supporting the day-to-day operations of the department. Under expert guidance, you will play an active role in complaint handling and customer care, with a view to growing into a more senior position over time.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle customer complaints with professionalism, empathy, and efficiency
• Communicate effectively via phone, email, and written correspondence
• Assist in claim handling and follow-up
• Liaise with suppliers, internal teams, and store managers to resolve customer issues
• Maintain accurate records and case files through our CRM system
• Help identify process improvements and support reporting and analysis

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 4 years' experience in a customer-facing role, ideally within complaint handling
• Strong written communication skills, particularly in drafting formal letters
• Familiarity with CRM systems and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• High attention to detail and a solutions-focused mindset
• Empathetic and resilient when dealing with challenging situations or difficult customers
• A team player with a positive, "can-do" attitude and willingness to learn
• A proactive and self-motivated individual eager to develop and progress
• Travel industry knowledge and understanding of consumer legislation is desirable but not essential
