Overview

We are a life sciences company focused on the development, production, and commercialization of high-value consumable products used in the manufacturing of biological drugs. We are currently recruiting for Production Operators on a weekend shift.

You will be part of a cross-functional team of highly motivated and collaborative colleagues. Reporting directly to the shift team leader, this role provides support in Moulding Manufacturing, Kit Assembly, and Packaging processes.

Responsibilities

As a production operator, you will:

  • Use, store, process, and control materials within relevant areas in the manufacturing operations department according to approved documentation including SOPs, Batch Documents, MOs, Mfg. Drawings, etc.
  • Use, store, maintain, and clean all equipment within the relevant areas as per approved documentation.
  • Achieve operational targets such as efficiency, right first time (rework), final pass yield (scrap), and document error reduction.
  • Be responsible for the hourly/daily performance of the manufacturing cell where assigned.
  • Participate in manufacturing cell team activities and teamwork initiatives, including audits, inspections, and project implementation.
  • Engage in continuous improvement projects to enhance quality and efficiency of manufacturing processes.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of moulding processes, in-process inspection, assembly, and packaging as per training goals.
  • Report department metrics and controls accurately as assigned.
  • Maintain and control specialized equipment and tools according to SOPs.
  • Complete all manufacturing and packaging in-process testing as per approved documentation and SOPs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned based on new developments or role changes.
Qualifications
  • Good understanding of CAPA, cleanroom operations, continuous improvement, GMP, EHS, press operations, packaging, labeling, and quality.
  • Ability to operate at pace with agile decision-making, using evidence and judgment to balance speed, rigor, and risk.
  • Commitment to high-quality results, overcoming challenges, and focusing on key priorities.
  • Willingness to learn, develop skills, and share knowledge.
  • Maintain energy and well-being.
  • Build strong relationships and collaborate openly and honestly.
  • Previous moulding experience is highly desirable.
  • Previous experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
