We are currently recruiting for Data Centre Security Officers in the Grangecastle area.

*Composite Hourly Pay rate €22.64 per hour (€20.16 basic per hour.) based on an annual attainable salary of €49,580.78 which includes all night allowances, Sunday allowances, and public holiday payments, based on a fully flexible contract divided by 42 hours a week, 52 weeks a year*

Hourly Base rate of €20.16

This role requires full flexibility, including days, nights, and weekends.

SUMMARY

Assist the Data Centre security team in providing security services. Responsibilities include client service, problem resolution, service enhancement, training, and patrolling the Data Centre to protect assets and property.

1. Conducts roving patrols under supervision, maintains logs and records as per SOPs.

2. Identifies security gaps and suggests improvements.

3. Maintains documentation and follows procedures.

4. Responds to alarms and critical events as directed.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

COMPETENCIES:

  • Meet licensing requirements for Security Officers.
  • Possess necessary skills, certifications, or authorizations.
  • Knowledge of security operations, procedures, and supervisory practices.
  • Ability to learn security devices and train for promotion.
  • Maintain schedules, professional composure, basic computer skills, and effective communication.
  • Strong customer service skills and cultural awareness.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Requires physical and mental capacity to perform duties, including handling sensitive information, travel, lifting up to 12 kilos, and responding to emergencies. Must maintain composure and handle multiple tasks effectively.

  • Good English, detail-oriented, and IT skills.
  • Excellent customer service and telephone skills.
  • Full flexibility to work days, nights, weekends.
  • Own transport desirable.
