Overview

60 hrs per fortnight
• Permanent Part Time
• Based in Kildare, Ireland

Responsibilities
  • Support individuals with independent living skills, community inclusion and the promotion of their personal health and wellbeing.
  • Support, encourage and motivate individuals to lead a fulfilling life.

We are recruiting for positions of Support Worker to work as part of a dynamic team supporting in our Day Services in Kildare.

Requirements
  • Relevant QQI Level 5 qualification.
  • Knowledge of New Directions Interim Standards and Person Centred Support Plans.
  • A valid licence to drive a manual vehicle in Ireland.
  • Experience of supporting adults with intellectual disabilities and/or autism.
  • Excellent organisational, logistical and IT skills an advantage.
  • Lone working/Individual Support & the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Experience of working with people with a range of support needs to include behaviours of concern.
  • Good connections in the local community an advantage.
