Sales Representative / Business Development role

Dublin / Leinster (hybrid working)

€Neg DOE, plus uncapped Commission, fully expensed transport, phone, laptop etc

Introduction:

ICDS Constructors Ltd are one of the larger Recruitment Agencies and Trades/Labour Suppliers in Ireland, also with operations in other countries such as UK, Holland, Germany and Scandinavia. We have been in operation for almost 50 years and have an excellent reputation in the industry.

Due to increased activity and confidence in the construction industry, we are looking for a Sales Representative to help promote the company to new clients and develop our business and market share.

Responsibilities:

  1. Promote and develop the Company's core business of providing semi-skilled/skilled labour and tradespeople to clients in the construction industry in Ireland.
  2. Daily visiting of the construction sites of our existing and potential new clients in Leinster to maintain and establish relationships.
  3. Contact clients via phone when visiting sites is difficult due to location.
  4. Support ICDS's common goals by working with team members and pro-actively participating in commitments made to clients.
  5. Plan site visits to maximize the efficiency of time spent on the road.
  6. Enrich team members' knowledge base with sales information collected from the field.
  7. Work in a dynamic environment with quick turnaround times and tight deadlines.

Experience:

  1. Some sales experience is required, along with knowledge of the construction industry and large prestigious projects.

Required Competencies:

  1. A background in construction sales.
  2. Strong time management skills.
  3. Some commercial awareness and numeracy skills.
  4. Some IT literacy.
  5. Ability to prioritize workload.
  6. Strong communication and organizational skills.
  7. Ambitious lateral thinker & self-motivated.
  8. Team player.
  9. Full driving licence.

  1. Competitive base salary coupled with uncapped commission.
