Housekeeping/Accommodation Assistant | Altadore Retirement Nursing Home – Virtue Integrated Care

Location: Upper Glenageary Road, Glenageary, Co. Dublin, Ireland. Contract Type: Permanent, Full-time.

Eligibility To Work In Ireland

Due to immediate service requirements, this role is open to applicants who hold EU/EEA citizenship with the right to work in Ireland without restriction. Unfortunately, we are not in a position to support visa applications or work permits for this role at this time.

We are now seeking a compassionate and dedicated Housekeeping/Accommodation assistant to join our team.

Responsibilities
  • Engage in friendly conversation with residents while cleaning their rooms.
  • Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting and polishing.
  • Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards.
  • Protect equipment and make sure there are no inadequacies.
  • Notify superiors on any damages, deficits and disturbances.
  • Deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience.
  • Check stocking levels of all consumables and replace when appropriate.
  • Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices.
