About St Gabriel\'s Nursing Home: St Gabriel\'s is in the Edenmore area of Raheny, with 58 single en-suite rooms and 4 en-suite double rooms, multiple lounges, dining rooms, chapel, hairdressing, conservatory, visitors\' room, activity room and gardens. The home offers in-house laundry services and a lift.

About the Role

The Housekeeper/general operative will be responsible for overseeing housekeeping cleaning operations at our nursing home. The working hours will be varied according to home needs and will require occasional weekend work. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available.

Role Responsibilities
  • Work across the nursing home as a Housekeeping Assistant, Catering Assistant, and Laundry Assistant.
  • Remain continuously vigilant towards the dignity, comfort, and safety of residents.
  • Adhere to all hygiene, health and safety regulations.
Role Requirements
  • Excellent people skills with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.
  • Ability to identify areas for improvement and implement changes.
  • Strong organisation and planning skills to ensure adequate staffing and supplies across the home.
  • Team player who can work with management and staff.
  • Visible and credible leader who can lead by example.
