Employee Relations Specialist - EMEA - Dublin. The human resource operations team works to deliver a seamless and positive employee experience across the entire employee lifecycle. We aim to lead with care, showing empathy, and to develop efficient people processes, systems, policies, and programs. The ideal candidate is motivated, with a positive attitude, patience, teamwork, critical thinking, and emotional intelligence.
Responsibilities- Deliver a consistent, knowledgeable, and professional service in areas including disciplinary, grievance, probation, performance, long-term sick leave, etc., ensuring actions comply with policy, best practice, and regulatory requirements to mitigate risk.
- Conduct confidential investigations of complex HR-related concerns and apply critical thinking to analyse evidence and reach investigative conclusions.
- Manage and own a complex case load from commencement to case conclusion.
- Provide advice and counsel to businesses on disciplinary and warning actions related to ER cases, policy interpretation, and regional employment practices.
- Maintain detailed ER case documentation, including investigation reports/outcome letters and issue analysis.
- Provide sound ER advice and guidance to HR Business Partners and business leaders on reorganisation and restructuring activity in line with employment practices and law.
- Curate and deliver relevant training to improve HRBP and leader effectiveness and drive better ER decisions.
- Participate in ER projects/continuous improvement initiatives to improve the policy framework and ER capability within the team.
- Engage in special projects/programs requiring ER input as needed.
- Build partnerships with business leaders and HR Business Partners to sustain positive employee relations practices.
- Foster strong relationships with the Employment Legal team, Ethics Office and investigations teams to balance risk and calibrate recommendations.
- Collaborate with partners on ER data insights, trends, and opportunities to drive proactive solutions; diagnose root causes and develop corrective actions.
- Ensure a coordinated and consistent case management approach to ER matters.
Minimum Qualifications
- 4+ years of employee relations experience (advantageous).
- Strong experience partnering with key stakeholders and effective teamwork.
- Solid understanding of European, Middle East and Africa employment law and regulatory frameworks.
- Policy and procedure development and enforcement to ensure compliance.
- Ability to make good judgments in sensitive, complex, and ambiguous situations.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work effectively in ambiguity within a fast-paced and challenging environment.

- Confident, credible, and resilient with strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally and escalate issues as appropriate.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail.
