Procurement Platforms Administrator

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Procurement Platforms Administrator to support our Procurement Digital and Data Manager in maintaining and optimizing our procurement systems. This role will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of procurement platforms, providing user support, managing tickets, ensuring data integrity, supporting workflow creation and amendment, and assisting with technology vendor management. The Procurement Platforms Administrator will play a crucial role in keeping our digital procurement ecosystem running smoothly and efficiently.

What You'll Do as a Procurement Platforms Administrator
  • Provide day-to-day administration and support for procurement systems (e.g., e-sourcing, e-procurement, contract management tools).
  • Manage user access controls, including creating new user accounts, modifying permissions, and deactivating accounts as needed.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues, escalating complex problems to the Procurement Digital and Data Manager or IT department.
  • Perform regular system maintenance tasks, such as data backups, updates, and patches.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for user inquiries and support requests related to procurement systems.
  • Respond to and resolve user tickets in a timely and professional manner, documenting solutions and maintaining a knowledge base.
  • Provide training and guidance to users on how to effectively use procurement systems.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity within procurement systems.
  • Assist with data uploads, imports, and exports as required.
  • Assist the Procurement Digital and Data Manager in creating, documenting, and improving procurement workflows within the systems.
  • Test and validate new or updated workflows to ensure they function correctly and meet business requirements.
  • Assist the Procurement Digital and Data Manager in managing relationships with technology vendors.
  • Coordinate communication with vendors for issue resolution and system updates.
  • Help track vendor performance against agreed-upon service levels.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation of system configurations, processes, and user guides.
  • Work closely with the Procurement Digital and Data Manager and IT team to resolve technical issues and implement system improvements.
  • Collaborate with business users to understand their needs and provide effective solutions.
What You'll Bring

  • 3+ years of experience in system administration or IT support, preferably within a procurement, finance or supply chain environment.
  • Familiarity with procurement and finance platforms (e.g., Oracle) or similar enterprise systems.
  • Technical systems skills, including experience with user access management, ticketing systems, etc.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic understanding of procurement processes is a plus.
  • Experience with workflow management or business process design is a plus.
  • Be able to build & maintain relationships with key stakeholders and the procurement team are essential to be successful in this role.
  • You will have excellent administration skills.
