About the Role

The AI Engineer within the Intelligent Automation (IA) team plays a key role in designing, developing, and implementing AI solutions to improve business processes and decision-making. Responsibilities include engaging with clients, participating in business development, and working on projects involving machine learning, natural language processing, computer vision, generative models, and multi-agent systems. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful AI products and services, and help the business adopt AI technologies effectively.

Responsibilities
  • Meet with clients and business teams to assess AI needs and identify suitable solutions.
  • Participate in client pitches and sales activities to demonstrate Citco's AI capabilities.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver AI solutions that add value.
  • Provide technical leadership to project teams from conception to deployment.
  • Design, build, and optimize AI models for financial applications.
  • Integrate AI solutions into existing systems to enhance functionality.
  • Manage data preprocessing, feature engineering, and infrastructure setup.
  • Deploy models into production and monitor their performance for continuous improvement.
  • Stay updated on AI trends and propose innovative solutions.
  • Establish best practices for AI model development and deployment.
  • Create comprehensive documentation for solutions and processes.
  • Contribute to project reports and maintain communication with stakeholders.
  • Engage with internal teams to communicate AI initiatives and benefits.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field (Master's or Ph.D. preferred).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  • Over 5 years of experience in AI/ML development with successful deployments.
  • Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Experience with advanced NLP techniques, including vector databases, fine-tuning LLMs, and RAG.
  • Knowledge of MLOps practices.
  • Understanding of financial products and fund administration is beneficial.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders.
