Overview

Electrical Design Engineer - Consultancy - Limerick

Our client, a multidisciplinary consultancy delivering high-value industrial and commercial projects nationwide, is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join their team in Limerick. This is a pivotal role supporting the design and delivery of electrical systems across a wide range of projects, such as distilleries, food manufacturing, and chemical facilities.

Responsibilities
  • Support the design and delivery of electrical building services across client projects.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure alignment with project requirements and timelines.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable standards and contribute to innovative and sustainable design solutions.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Electrical or Building Services Engineering.
  • 4+ years' design experience in a consultancy environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge of electrical building services systems.
  • Proficiency in Dialux, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
  • Full driving licence and own car.
Location & Package

Location: Limerick

Salary: €45,000 - €60,000

Package: Hybrid working (2 days in the office), Private medical insurance, bike-to-work scheme, pension, on-site parking

Progression

Opportunity to develop into a leadership role, managing and growing the Building Services Electrical Design Department. Reporting into the MEP Director.
