Senior Electrical Design Engineer Location: Limerick, Ireland Salary: €75K€90K DOE Role: An established M&E consultancy is looking to appoint a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to strengthen their multidisciplinary team.
This position provides the chance to lead projects, guide junior engineers, and deliver innovative, compliant electrical design solutions across landmark developments.
Responsibilities: Take responsibility for the electrical design and design management on a range of project Collaborate closely with clients, architects, contractors, and fellow design disciplines Produce, review, and approve electrical designs and specifications in line with relevant codes and standards Prepare drawings, reports, budgets, and tender documentation Supervise, support, and develop junior engineers Carry out site surveys, inspections, and progress reviews to ensure quality outcomes Commit to ongoing professional growth and remain current with industry best practice Requirements: Honours Degree (Level 8) or equivalent in Electrical/Building Services Engineering Proven capability in all areas of electrical design and building services engineering Strong written and verbal communication, including technical reporting skills Good understanding of RIAI & GCC contract forms Competency in Revit, AutoCAD, and electrical design software (e.g., Dialux, Amtech) Motivated self-starter with a track record of delivering projects successfully Benefits: Competitive salary of €75K€90K DOE Pension contribution scheme Professional membership fees covered, plus CPD support Hybrid/flexible working options Clear career development and leadership pathways Interested?
