Matchbook Betting Exchange - Operations Agent - Hybrid/Remote - €31,544 pa

We are looking for suitable candidates to join our existing team of Sports Operations Agents working in a unique and exciting environment. Successful candidates will be based in our Cork Operations centre working as part of the 24/7 Operations team. Full training on Matchbook's platform will be provided. The Operations Agent is responsible for ensuring all Matchbook.com users have an exceptional betting experience through outstanding customer service and attention to detail in managing the markets on our website.

What will I be doing?

• Creating sporting events and betting markets on Matchbook.com and client platforms.
• Managing sporting events and betting markets based on sporting news, subject matter experts, and customer feedback.
• Ensuring website content complies with company, industry, and gaming regulator standards.
• Liaising with other teams to resolve issues or improve the platform.
• Performing ad-hoc reporting and data analysis.
• Providing retail and B2B client support via live chat, email, and phone.
• Managing promotions, technical troubleshooting, client escalation, and partner support.
• Handling client funds and payments.
• Assisting with KYC procedures and player management.

What we are looking for:

• Experience in the sports betting industry is highly advantageous.
• Understanding of major sports.
• Strong analytical, planning, and decision-making skills.
• Attention to detail and high work standards.
• Flexibility to work weekends and evenings (up to midnight).
• Ability to work effectively in a diverse team and in a high-volume, fast-changing environment.
