Role Overview

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will lead the organisation in achieving its strategic objectives, representing its members at local, regional, and national levels. This high-profile role requires exceptional leadership, commercial acumen, and the ability to drive membership growth, policy influence, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with the Board to develop and deliver the strategic plan.
  • Maintain best-practice governance and financial transparency.
  • Lead business development plans to grow membership and diversify revenue streams.
  • Act as the organisation's primary representative with government, media, and industry bodies.
  • Oversee strategic marketing, communications, and public relations activity.
  • Foster a positive, high-performance culture among staff and stakeholders.
  • Ensure effective management of the office, facilities, and regulatory compliance.
  • Report regularly to the Board on progress, finances, and operational performance.

Qualifications
  • Postgraduate qualification in leadership, management, or related discipline (desirable).
  • Third-level qualification in business, management, or a related field (essential).
