We are looking for ambitious and dedicated advisors in the area of credit risk quantification: credit modelling (IRB), model validation, economic capital, stress testing, credit pricing, etc.

Accountabilities
  1. You participate in or lead engagements of our Risk Advisory practice in the quantitative area for our banking clients.
  2. You assist our clients in modelling their credit risk models: PD, LGD, EAD/CCF, ECL ... from model design to implementation using advanced technologies or software packages.
  3. You participate in model validation assignments and provide clients with recommendations to improve their models and processes.
  4. Depending on your experience, you may work as a team member or coordinate workload in various projects while coaching junior staff.
  5. You may also be involved in non-regulatory modelling activities: Machine Learning, AI, Data analytics projects.
  6. You build and maintain close relationships with clients.
  7. You participate in business development and internal projects.
  8. You promote Finalyse's image through publications, conferences, or networking events.
Must Have Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in econometrics, physics, mathematics, or applied economics with a strong academic background in a quantitative field.
  • At least 4-5 years of experience in Financial Services within the banking sector.
  • Familiarity with risk management frameworks (Economic Capital, Risk Appetite, Stress Testing).
  • Hands-on experience in model development or validation.
  • Relevant regulatory knowledge (CRR, CRD, IRB, IFRS9, ...).
  • Proficiency with packages like SAS, Python, or R.
  • Ability to work independently in a result-oriented environment.
  • Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills in English.
Nice to Have
  • Certifications like FRM or PRM are advantageous.
