Overview

Gym Instructor/Lifeguard role at Dunraven Arms Hotel. The Dunraven Arms Hotel, in the heart of Adare, has a celebrated heritage as one of Ireland's iconic hotels with award-winning food.

Must hold a Full Lifeguard Qualification.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain a high level of customer service and ensure the leisure club operates in a guest- and member-focused manner.
  • Deal with members in a courteous and professional way.
  • Answering the phone and performing reception duties.
  • Respond promptly to queries or requests in a friendly and approachable manner.
  • Adhere to all operational activities to ensure the facility runs smoothly and meets operational guidelines.
  • Carry out pool tests to ensure safe chemical levels within the pool.
  • Carry out hourly checklists to ensure the facility meets cleanliness standards.
  • Deep clean of the changing rooms at the end of each shift.
  • Maintain a clean plant room and ensure chemicals are topped up.
  • Provide demonstrations on all gym equipment to new and existing members.
  • Actively seek ways to improve members' class experience.
