Our hotel is seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Leisure Centre Attendant.

This role involves ensuring the leisure centre provides an exceptional experience for our guests. This includes welcoming and assisting guests, maintaining a clean environment, monitoring pool supplies, providing equipment rentals, and addressing guest queries.

To be successful in this role, you will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively. You will also possess a strong focus on health and safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welcome and assist guests accessing the leisure centre.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
  • Monitor and replenish pool supplies and towels.
  • Provide basic equipment rentals.
  • Address guest queries and ensure their satisfaction.
  • Familiarize yourself with all health and safety regulations.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role within a hotel environment.
  • Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Possess a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Be a team player with a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Show ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Foster a strong focus on health and safety procedures.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Lifeguard qualification from a recognized regulatory body.
  • Swim teaching or aqua aerobics instructor qualification from a recognized Irish regulatory body.
