Overview

ATG are seeking a Project Engineer with expertise in flood risk assessment and flood modelling to join a growing team in Dublin and Galway. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting flood risk analyses, hydraulic and hydrological modelling, and developing mitigation strategies for infrastructure and environmental projects. This role involves collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring compliance with regulations, and delivering high-quality technical reports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform flood risk assessments and hydraulic/hydrological modelling
  • Develop and implement flood mitigation strategies
  • Prepare technical reports and presentations for clients and stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with environmental and planning regulations
  • Collaborate with civil, environmental, and planning teams
Qualifications
  • Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (or related field)
  • 3+ years of experience in flood risk and flood modelling
  • Proficiency in software such as HEC-RAS, MIKE FLOOD, or similar
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
