About the role

Gartner Analysts are industry thought leaders who create essential research, industry predictions, and best practices for leading organizations worldwide. A Senior Director is a leader within Gartner Research and Advisory, establishing credibility across local, regional, and global levels. They utilize exceptional research and analytical skills to produce pragmatic and provocative insights that help clients achieve key growth objectives. They are trusted advisors, engaging through virtual and in-person meetings, sales calls, and conferences to discuss complex challenges and provide recommendations.

Responsibilities
  • Create innovative, impactful research content
  • Develop new ideas and thought leadership to meet client needs
  • Analyze and identify root causes of client challenges to inform strategy
  • Establish research positions and influence research agendas
  • Provide industry insights that shape Gartner's research focus
  • Research and predict industry trends for actionable insights
  • Deliver presentations and client briefings, representing Gartner at events
  • Support sales efforts as a Subject Matter Expert
  • Review peer content and collaborate within the research team
  • Build industry credibility and represent Gartner's methodologies
  • Participate in research discussions and build peer relationships
  • Identify and develop research process improvements
  • Mentor junior analysts
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree plus 12+ years of relevant experience or equivalent
  • Expertise in executive-level Digital Strategy and Transformation
  • Strong executive presence and credibility with senior stakeholders
  • Excellent organizational, research, communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to analyze data and synthesize insights effectively
  • Comfortable presenting at various engagement levels
  • Deep knowledge of the digital industry landscape
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a global team
  • Willingness to travel internationally (~15%)
