Job Title: Senior Speech and Language Therapist (CDNT) Location: Carlow Employment Type: Fixed-Term Contract Shift Pattern: Full-time/Part time Are you a skilled and compassionate Speech and Language Therapist ready to make a difference in childrens lives? Join our clients dynamic Childrens Disability Network Team (CDNT) in Carlow and lead impactful work with children and families. About the Role: As a Senior Speech and Language Therapist, you will provide clinical leadership and deliver high-quality, family-centred services to children and young people with complex developmental needs. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will focus on assessment, intervention, and collaboration with families to achieve meaningful outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive assessments of childrens communication, speech, language, and feeding/swallowing needs. Develop and implement individualized intervention plans in collaboration with families and team members. Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to junior staff and students. Work within an interdisciplinary framework, contributing to team assessments and planning. Maintain accurate and timely records in line with professional and organisational standards. Actively participate in service development initiatives. Requirements: Essential: A recognized degree in Speech and Language Therapy. Registration with CORU or eligibility to register. A minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience, with at least 1 year in paediatrics or disability. Experience working in a multidisciplinary or interdisciplinary team. Strong skills in assessment, therapy, and family-centred practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Desirable: Postgraduate training in relevant areas (e.g., ASD, feeding/swallowing, AAC). Experience in supervising staff or students. What We Offer: Competitive salary based on experience.
