SUMMARY OF ROLE: We are currently recruiting for an experienced Transport Coordinator for our Client based in Dublin 12. This is a permanent position with good prospects for progression. The purpose of the role is to ensure all services are covered adequately and customer requirements are met by dealing with driver issues; resolving access issues; monitoring driver activity; and communicating with drivers, internal staff and customers. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Ensuring the drivers are completing their allocated work and calling in issues to be resolved; Debriefing every route daily; Checking and investigating exceptions on each route, fixing and allocating on the correct round; Ensuring the daily roster is being communicated to drivers and followed, and drivers are having working equipment; Using the camera system and telematics to monitor drivers and resolve issues; Dealing with queries from Customer Care, Sales Team, and Management; Ensuring all accidents are being logged in real-time, reviewing the accidents, and taking appropriate action; Communicating with the Sales Team and crews regarding new customers, locations, access, etc. ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: Experience in a similar role an advantage but not essential; Knowledge of Working Time Directive, RSA driving hours, Licensing and Health & Safety rules; Proficiency in MS Office with a working knowledge of Excel; Good time management, planning, and organisational skills; Customer focused at all times; Strong attention to detail; Ability to work under pressure; Good team player; Excellent communication skills. SALARY: €30,000 to €40,000 depending on experience. After successful completion of probation, an annual bonus up to €3000 is paid. WORKING HOURS: Monday to Friday 7am-4pm, 8am-5pm or 9am-6pm.
