Our client is a growing Accountancy Practice based in South Dublin city. They are currently seeking a Payroll Bookkeeper to join their team. Role will support a mix of clients who operate in variety of industries. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and motivated individual to join a very friendly and supportive firm, with a great working environment, where you will have the opportunity to take ownership of your role and have large client exposure. Role is office based Mon-Fri 9am - 530pm. Role Responsibilities: Preparation of Bookkeeping Records including Sales, Purchases & Banking Accurate processing and coding of invoices Processing of staff expenses Creditors/Debtors/Bank Reconciliations Preparing and submission of VAT returns PAYE reconciliations Preparing and posting month end journals Preparation of accounts to trial balance Processing payroll, Vat, & RCT Other ad-hoc duties as required Candidate Requirements: Minimum 3 years experience in an Accounts position Previous experience in a bookkeeping/payroll role within an accountancy practice would be preferable Knowledge of the Irish tax systems and reliefs IPASS qualified Familiarity with Sage & Thesaurus would be a strong advantage Excellent organisational and communications skills essential Strong communication & attention to detail skills Ability to work to and manage deadlines A very attractive remuneration package will be offered to the successful candidate.
