Quality & Risk Co-ordinator - Permanent Applications are invited for the Permanent position of Quality and Risk Co-ordinator in St. Vincents Private Hospital. Essential Criteria The post holder must have: Clinical qualification in Healthcare science to Degree level Experience of working in a clinical setting/ Healthcare environment. Experience of working in a Quality Accreditation programme. Working knowledge of clinical setting and working with MDT members, familiar with HCR, INEWS, training and audit Excellent administrative skills Competency in use of IT Systems/Microsoft packages. Report writing skills with strong focus on attention to detail. Have the ability to work on own initiative, prioritise and manage caseload. Have a high capacity for responsibility and individual initiative. Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Be professionally responsible for all aspects of post-holders own work. Demonstrate a high level of discretion and professional integrity Have the ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines. Demonstrate ability and willingness to adapt to an expanding and changing environment Desirable It is desirable for the post holder to have: Clinical qualification in Healthcare science to Masters level Qualification in Risk Management/Quality in Healthcare (or associated sectors) Qualification in claims/legal processes Experience in preparation for JCI/HIQA inspection Understanding of claims litigation process Proficient knowledge of IPMS QPulse & Datix Understanding of Risk management process Understanding of claims management Understanding of clinical governance Demonstrate strong ability to analyse data and trends.
