Quality & Compliance Engineer - Meath Job Purpose: The Quality and Compliance Engineer will oversee and manage the organisation's QMS (Quality Management System) and control processes. As the Quality Engineer, you will implement, manage and improve our quality management systems, conduct audits, and be an integral member of our continuous improvement initiatives. As a Compliance Engineer, you will lead the team in managing and governing the group's compliance policies. Collaborate with our management team in developing innovative policies and procedures to ensure that the organisation is a quality and compliance management leader. Great Benefits on offer Annual Leave: 25 days + Bank Holidays Medical: Laya Inspire Plus plan (Eligible from start date) Pension: 6.5% Employer match (Eligible after 6 months' employment) Duties in the role: In conjunction with the management team, the Quality function shall be responsible for the management and operation of the Quality Management System (QMS) Work with the management team to provide leadership and development of the business to maximise the effectiveness of the Quality System Become a critical member of the team to develop a continuous improvement culture that addresses the root cause analysis of customer complaints and to lead a culture of change to ensure continuous improvement in all aspects of customer complaints management To work functionally across all departments offering guidance and support of the quality management system Implement our continuous SPC improvement process, which reduces non-conformances and achieves business goals and key performance indicators Along with management; effectively communicate our strategy, obligations, and behaviours throughout the organisation at all levels of the business To play an integral part in the Extrusion Centre of Excellence management team striving for commonality and best practices in compliance management Analyse and evaluate the performance of the system to identify any need for corrective action Put in place measures to audit, monitor and review Quality for legislative compliance and approval of all standards.
