Electrician/Electrical Design Engineer I am looking for either an Electrician who has recently achieved a level 7 or 8 electrical degree or an Electrician with three years of design experience. My client, a well-known and well-loved manufacturing plant in Limerick, is looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to join their team-based organisation. This role has become available due to continuous capital projects and two new sustainable, first-of-its-kind equipment installation projects starting this year. Duties Collaborates with project team including electrical/instrument engineers, DCS engineers, operations personnel and others to implement designs Conducts surveys and reports on site equipment and installations Generates as built drawings of existing installations and updating existing documentation Generates electrical design drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams and project documentation to deliver the electrical and/or instrumentation requirements of the project Specifies and procure electrical and instrument equipment according to appropriate standards Prepares project documents, health and safety plans, specifications, bills of materials and material purchases as required to implement the projects Liaises with the project team and contractors during installation, pre-commissioning including commissioning and testing of electrical and instrument installations Works with the plant personnel to optimise electrical and instrument performance Ensures all equipment is registered on the maintenance management systems and project documentation is filed appropriately Reports regularly on project status, schedule and budget Essential Requirements Level 7/8 qualification in Electrical Technology and/or qualified Electrician with relevant experience At least 3 years relevant experience The Rewards.
