Our client, a leading global organisation, is seeking a talented and dedicated Global Payroll Specialist to join their dynamic team on an 18-month temporary this key role, you will be responsible for the administration of payroll processes across multiple countries, ensuring accurate and timely payments while maintaining compliance with local regulations. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the entire payroll cycle, including data entry, processing, and reconciliations. Collaborate with HR and payroll providers to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Manage monthly and yearly payroll activities, including journal entries, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations. Ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations in each country. Implement and maintain robust internal controls to minimize errors and ensure data integrity. Prepare and analyse payroll reports for internal and external stakeholders. Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Provide excellent customer service to internal and external clients. Essential Skills & Experience: Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist with a strong understanding of international payroll principles. Experience working in a multi-country environment, ideally within a shared services centre. Excellent knowledge of payroll processing software (e.g., Oracle, SAP). Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data manipulation and analysis. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. A collaborative team player with a strong customer service orientation. IPASS qualified or equivalent preferred.
