The main responsibilities: Lead the recruitment process, including advertising job roles, screening, interviewing, and onboarding for various positions within manufacturing, logistics, sales, and management. Design and manage induction programmes that ensure new hires are effectively integrated into the company and understand their roles, responsibilities, and career progression opportunities. Identify and coordinate training and development programmes to enhance the skills of employees in technical, operational, and administrative roles. Provide guidance and support to managers on setting performance standards, conducting appraisals, and managing underperformance. Act as the primary point of contact for employee relations matters, handling issues such as grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution in line with company policies and employment law. Assist in the development of health and safety policies relevant to the manufacturing sector, ensuring that all practices are compliant with regulations. Promote a positive work culture and implement initiatives to enhance employee morale, retention, and engagement. CIPD qualification (Level 5 or higher) preferred. Minimum of 5 years of HR experience, ideally within the manufacturing or packaging industry.
