Global business-to-business (B2B) payments market is in the range of USD 120 trillion. Most of it happens on non-card rails, representing tremendous growth opportunity for Mastercard’s Commercial Platforms. The In Control platform for Commercial Payments is part of the Commercial Platform family that is responsible for delivering safe, smart and simple payment solutions to middle and large market segment supporting both travel (T&E) and B2B payments. The In Control platform generates single or multi-use Virtual Card Numbers (VCN) with extensive user defined controls to provide secure and controlled B2B and T&E payment transactions.

This role is heavily involved in defining the overall Platform vision for embedded finance and working with engineering to deliver world-class, digital-first products and solutions for our commercial clients.

Responsibilities:
• Responsible for developing inspiring platform/product visions, derived from business needs, market opportunities, and technology trends.
• Decomposes business requirements and customer experiences into features and functions that drive the platform/product roadmap.
• Creation and elaboration of features to allow the engineers to fully execute the intended outcome of the feature.
• Work closely with the engineering teams through design, development, release and maintenance of the product to help deliver ensure its quality and successful delivery
• Manage the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation to launch, iteration, and continuous improvement.
• Own and manage product documentation and support development of user and release documentation.
About You:
• Proven experience in product management, with a proven track record of successfully launching and managing products in a SaaS or customer-facing environment.
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
• Experience in working with REST APIs and microservices.
• Experience with Scrum and Agile Development.
• Proven experience working with software engineering teams, preferably in an agile environment to analyse software requirements, model business processes/workflows, and align software requirements to business strategy.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to drive deep product insights from data.
• Strong ability to interact with, influence, and build consensus across a variety of internal business units, external partners, and service providers.
• Third-level qualifications in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
• (Desirable) Experience in card payments, banking and/ or financial service

Additional Information:
•This role is hybrid, with the expectation of working in office at least 3 days per week.
