Field Operations Manager

Our Client in the Renewal Energy Sector, is looking for an Experienced Field Operations Manager. The ideal candidate with have excellent knowledge of the Solar industry as well as previous experience in a Management role and overseeing multiple projects at once. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and manage all site teams, ensuring high-quality installations and compliance with project timelines. Conduct interviews and evaluate site staff performance. Lead morning briefings to set daily objectives and assign tasks. Meet weekly installation targets while maintaining top-quality standards. Conduct site assessments for both residential and commercial properties to assess solar feasibility. Ensure installations are completed within budget and on schedule. Ensure customer satisfaction by providing post-installation support and addressing any concerns promptly. Enforce health and safety regulations on-site and in the warehouse, ensuring full compliance. Regularly review and update health and safety policies to align with evolving regulations and industry best practices. Manage stock levels, coordinate with suppliers, and ensure materials and equipment are readily available for installations. Oversee warehouse operations, including the upkeep of company vehicles and equipment. Oversee the planning, delivery, and support of services, ensuring efficient use of resources. Manage project-specific budgets, ensuring costs remain within approved limits. Develop, implement, and communicate policies, objectives, and procedures to the team. Execute strategies to support the companys expansion into nationwide operations. Prepare work schedules, delegate tasks, and manage team performance. Manage relationships with subcontractors, ensuring they meet Energy quality and safety standards. Qualifications: Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously. Familiarity with solar PV systems and a solid understanding of solar installation processes. Proven ability to manage budgets, control costs, and allocate resources efficiently. Valid drivers license with flexibility to travel as required. Bachelors degree in a relevant field is essential. Minimum of 5 years of experience in an operational management role, preferably within the construction industry. Demonstrated leadership skills, with experience building and leading high-performance teams. Excellent planning, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to foster strong relationships. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong general IT skills. Flexibility in managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines under pressure. Prior experience managing large-scale projects or overseeing expansion efforts. Certification in health and safety or a related discipline is preferred.
