Our purpose is to nourish the world, while safeguarding our environment for future generations Role Profile This is a key strategic leadership role within Tirln Consumer, Ireland. The Head of Growth & Commercial Excellence is responsible for unlocking value across the business through the development and execution of commercial strategies that drive profitable growth and deliver on our Horizon 2030 ambition. The role leads the Revenue Growth Management (RGM) agenda, embeds data-driven decision-making, and ensures commercial excellence across pricing, promotions, trade terms, and investment. It also plays a central role in category management, working cross-functionally to align portfolio, pricing, and channel strategies with consumer and customer needs. Strong financial acumen is essential, as the role shares joint P&L ownership with the Head of Category & Channel Marketing and Innovation, and partners closely with Finance to ensure commercial decisions are grounded in robust financial analysis and value creation Responsibilities Strategic Growth & P&L Leadership Lead the development and execution of the Consumer growth strategy, aligned to our Horizon 2030 ambition and long-term value creation. Own the commercial P&L, ensuring strategic decisions drive sustainable volume, value, and margin growth. Ensure all commercial initiatives are financially sound, value-accretive, and aligned with budget and profitability targets. Revenue Growth Management & Transformation Own and embed the Revenue Growth Management (RGM) framework as a core commercial discipline including pricing, pack architecture, promotional strategy, and trade investment optimisation. Drive the adoption of RGM across the team, transforming ways of working and embedding a value-led mindset. Lead change management initiatives to integrate RGM into planning, decision-making, and performance tracking. Commercial Excellence & Capability Building Drive commercial excellence by redesigning processes, upgrading tools, and building capabilities across the commercial function. Build and lead a high-performing team focused on growth, value delivery, and continuous improvement. Foster a high-performance culture grounded in accountability, agility, and cross-functional collaboration. Category & Channel Strategy Lead category management strategy and execution, ensuring alignment with customer needs, shopper insights, and channel dynamics. Collaborate closely with the Head of Category & Channel Marketing and Innovation to align on portfolio strategy, innovation planning, and commercial execution. Data-Driven Decision Making Champion data-driven decision-making across the Consumer team, leveraging analytics to inform strategy, pricing, investment, and performance management. Act as the strategic connector between Sales and Marketing, ensuring alignment and clarity in commercial execution. Proven track record of delivering value through pricing, promotions, trade investment, and commercial strategy. Deep understanding of commercial systems, performance management tools, and data-led decision-making. Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
