What the day will look like As a Paraplanner, you will work closely with our team of financial planners, providing quality customised support to meet our client needs. Main responsibilities will include: Assisting the financial planner in the formulation and documentation of financial plans for the client from information and instructions provided Develop the ability to identify and document a range of strategies in a compliant, personalised and tailored format Support financial planners in the annual review process for clients Attend client meetings with the financial planner on and off site across Ireland Critically analyse information received from planners and clients alike Research and analyse investment funds, insurance products and tax legislation as required Aid in the onboarding of clients Assist in projects and operational duties aligned with the Financial Planning team Assist in the Sales support processes Individual New Business processing and Pipeline Management Provide a professional service to a portfolio of external & internal clients Build strong relationships with each client & insurers within the market Ensure house-keeping and client files are in order Work to meet tight deadlines. Skills and experience that will lead to success The Paraplanner will have following skills: QFA qualification is mandatory On the road to CFP qualification, or have the desire to work towards it Previous experience dealing with clients in a Financial Services environment preferable Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs Previous experience with CashFlow Modelling Software is advantageous Excellent numeric, written and oral communication skills Strong attention to detail and the ability to think on your feet The ability to work independently and be self-motivated Creativity with the ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, being able to build strong and positive relationships with team members and clients.
