We have more than 124,000 members who are songwriters, composers and music publishers. We license organisations to play, perform, copy or record our members' music, and we distribute the royalties to our members.

We are seeking a Business Partner to join the Licensing Operations team in our Sydney office. This role is a full-time permanent position, reporting to our Manager, Business Partners.

In the newly created role of Business Partner, Media Licensing you'll focus on building positive customer relationships across various sectors within our Media Licensing business. 2. Manage the invoicing process, including the creation and distribution of documents.
3. Ensure timely and accurate debt recovery for all invoices.
4. Maintain and update financial records and databases.
5. Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting.
6. Collaborate with other departments to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to invoicing and reporting.
7. Provide support during audits and financial reviews.

Our ideal candidate has:

1. Proven experience in financial reporting, invoicing, or a similar role.
2. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
7. High level of integrity and professionalism.

What You'll Love:

1. Our friendly and collaborative work environment. Our team thrives on our values of collaboration, respect, skill, imagination, and accountability.
2. Hybrid work options, combining the convenience of remote work with in-office collaboration.
3. Generous employee benefits such as learning and development programs, 18 weeks paid parental leave, discounted private health benefits, novated lease vehicles arrangements, access to financial services, employee assistance programs, and more.

How to Apply:

To apply for this role please submit a short cover letter outlining why you would be suitable for this role and a current resume via Bamboo by COB 21 March 2025.

For more information on this role or to see the position description, please feel free to contact Dave Hatt, Manager, Business Partner (dave.hatt@apra.com.au).

Please Note: Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. All applicants must have current and valid working rights in Australia or New Zealand.

While this role is one that requires specific skills and experience, we are encouraging people from all diverse groups who are interested in this position to put an application in, even if they are not sure if they meet every single bit of the selection criteria.
