Job Title: Mechanical Estimator

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Estimator to join our team in Dublin, working on large-scale Data Centre projects across Europe. This hybrid working opportunity offers the chance to balance work and personal life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Obtain and negotiate pricing/quotes from local vendors and sub-contractors
  • Review scope gaps and variances prior to bid inclusion
  • Produce competitive tenders/detailed estimates for pre-design or design and build projects
  • Advise management of bid prospects and attend pre/post tender interviews
  • E nsure sub-contractor quotes comply with specification and liaise with the construction team
  • Manage change requests, schedule updates, and apply revised rates to tender bids
  • Maintain tender document control, including drawing analysis and specifications for BoQs
Requirements
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical Engineering, or Mechanical Trade background
  • 3+ years of experience as a Mechanical Estimator
  • Previous experience working with a contractor in Ireland or the UK
  • Excellent commercial awareness, time management, and proficiency in MS Office and CostX
  • Flexibility to travel occasionally, with normal working hours during Ireland travel
