Automation Technician - 12 Month FTC Location: Dublin, Leinster Are you an experienced Automation or Maintenance Technician looking for your next challenge in a regulated Pharmaceutical environment? This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology, troubleshoot automation systems, and play a key part in ensuring production lines run safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. The Role As an Automation Technician, you will: Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair automation systems, including robotics, assembly machinery, label applicators, tooling, separators, and test equipment. Ensure automation lines achieve performance and output targets through data analysis and corrective action. Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on production efficiency, safety, and product quality. Carry out equipment modifications, engineering change requests, and preventive maintenance. Ensure compliance with machine safety standards and regulatory requirements. Work closely with engineering teams, shift leads, and production staff to minimise downtime and optimise performance. About You Qualification in a relevant discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or similar). 3+ years' experience in a regulated industry such as medical devices, pharma, or food/FMCG. Strong knowledge of automation systems and machine safety. Experience with CMMS systems and PLC systems. Familiarity with quality systems (GMP, ISO, FDA QSR) is a strong advantage.
