Our client, a well-established accounting practice based in County Meath, is seeking to recruit a Part-Qualified Accountant to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious and motivated individual to gain hands-on experience across a variety of clients and sectors while developing strong technical and commercial skills within a supportive practice environment. As a Part-Qualified Accountant, you will work alongside a team of trainees, part-qualified, and qualified accountants, gaining valuable exposure to all aspects of accounting and tax compliance. Responsibilities Assist in the preparation of financial statements for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies. Support senior accountants with tax compliance matters, including VAT, PAYE, and income/corporation tax returns. Participate in bookkeeping, management accounts, and audit assignments as required. Liaise with clients to obtain relevant financial information and ensure deadlines are met. Contribute to the smooth operation of the finance function within the practice. Continue to develop your technical knowledge through on-the-job learning and professional exams. Take on additional responsibility as your experience and confidence grow. Requirements Part-Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CPA). Minimum of 2 years experience in a public accounting practice. Strong working knowledge of Excel, with experience using Sage, QuickBooks, or similar accounting software an advantage. Excellent attention to detail, communication, and organisational skills. Proactive and eager to learn in a fast-paced practice environment. Must be eligible to work in Ireland. Salary & Benefits Salary: €35,000 €45,000 (commensurate with experience).
