Production Operative 

We are currently seeking an experienced Production Operative who holds a valid counterbalance forklift licence to join our client — a well-established manufacturing company based in Ringaskiddy, Cork. Operating within the chemical and specialty materials sector, this company plays a key role in supplying high-quality products to customers across the pharmaceutical, food, and industrial markets. This is an initial temporary position with the potential to become permanent, offering a great opportunity to build a long-term career in a production environment.

For you:


Monday to Friday 8am – 4.40pm (3.30pm on Fridays)
€16 p/hr
Pension contribution
Bonus structure


Responsibilities:


Operate production equipment safely and efficiently.
Follow procedures to produce products to the correct quality standards.
Handle stock and materials in your area.
Complete all required documentation accurately.
Take product samples and carry out in-process checks.
Keep work area clean and organised.
Follow all health, safety, and hygiene procedures, including correct PPE use.
Support audits and continuous improvement efforts.
Load and unload raw materials and finished goods.
Carry out other relevant tasks as requested by your supervisor.


Requirements:


Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment (preferred).
Able to follow instructions, procedures, and safety rules.
Valid Counterbalance licence.
Good attention to detail and documentation skills.
Physically fit and able to lift materials and operate machinery.
Willing to work as part of a team and support others.
Flexible and open to learning new tasks.
Full driving licence.
