Site Engineer
€62,000 - €75,000 plus car, pension, private medical

A Tier 1 Irish building main contractor is seeking a driven and motivated Site Engineer for a new project in Galway. Do you have main contractor experience and strong communication skills?

Project Details

Location: Galway, Ireland

Type: Design & Build Healthcare Facility

Size: 10,000 square meters

Scope: Groundworks, piling, structures, external works

Facilities include GP surgeries, dental surgeries, public health nursing rooms, and offices

Client: Main contractor with international coverage, turnover €400 million, 50 years of successful trading

Project value: €64 million

Candidate Requirements

Ideally based in Ireland within daily commute to Galway

Construction-related degree or HNC/HND

At least 2 years of postgraduate on-site experience

Clear experience in site setting out

Experience with main contractors or subcontractors in similar environments

Ability to check, manage, and record site activities effectively

Solid experience in design coordination, method statements, managing subcontractors, and quality management

Experience working with supply chains and external stakeholders

Hardworking team player capable of adding value to the project team

Package

Basic salary: €62,000 - €75,000
