4-year Funded Ethnographic PhD Opportunity (with University College Cork) to study and theorise nightwork in the context of the Irish Nighttime Economy and politics of marginality.
We're #hiring a #PhD student/researcher to conduct #ethnographic research at on nightwork within the context of #nighttimeeconomy in the Republic of Ireland (RoI) or Northern Ireland. The candidate will be based in the Department of Sociology and Criminology, under the umbrella of UCC Futures – Collective Social Futures (CSF), University College Cork, Ireland.
This is a four-year position that will be co-supervised by me and Dr Tracey Skillington. The university offers excellent working conditions for PhD researchers, and Cork is a great place to live and work. We're interested in receiving applications from people with interdisciplinary background from #anthropology, #migration, #sociology, #urbanism #nightstudies & more.
