Your new role As an Accountant, you will join the Finance team in Dublin West on a 12-month contract. Reporting to the Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for: Preparing monthly and quarterly accounts for company-owned stores Reviewing management accounts before presentation to senior finance leaders Managing period-end routines and journal entries across multiple sites Completing quarterly intercompany reconciliations and settlements Owning balance sheet accounts, reconciliations, and group reporting Preparing and submitting Revenue returns in line with deadlines Acting as a key contact during interim and year-end audits Identifying risks and inefficiencies across the business Supporting store queries and other ad hoc duties What you'll need to succeed Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a finance function Strong financial and analytical skills with attention to detail Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines Excellent communication skills across all levels of the business Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (large data sets) Experience with Dynamics 365, Blackline, or Oracle is desirable but not essential What you'll get in return Competitive salary of €65,000 10% performance bonus 12-month contract with a leading food retail and distribution organisation Flexible working options available Opportunity to contribute to a company with a strong heritage and a clear vision for sustainability and growth What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
