Summary:

Our client, a biopharmaceutical company in Cork, is seeking an Indirect Tax Analyst. The ideal candidate will support the indirect compliance/account process across the EMEA region.

Responsibilities:

- Preparing and filing indirect tax returns, submitting refund claims, performing account reconciliations, carrying out data validation and ensuring timely tax payments.
- Work with external service providers as required to meet indirect tax compliance obligations.
- Ensure accurate completion of templates for tax payments, journal entries and monthly account reconciliations.
- Work closely with Legal, Finance and the wider business to provide guidance, advice and support on indirect tax-related matters
- Assist the EMEA and Global Tax Teams with tax projects such as tax system implementation/automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support tax audits/enquiries as they arise.
- Preparing and maintaining process documentation.
- Maintaining compliance and risk trackers.
- Supplier management.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Undergraduate Degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting.
- Minimum 3 years' Indirect Tax experience, preferably in a multinational environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel/Word/Power BI.
- ERP experience, ideally Oracle/SAP.
- Experience with data analytics tools/tax software is an advantage.
